A Greek philosopher by the name of Heraclitus was quoted saying, "Change is the only constant in life"...he also said, "No man ever steps into the same river twice, it is ever flowing and ever changing"......he was a man interested in the consciousness of humankind.
We all have a love-hate relationship with change. It allows for far better opportunities to approach, yet can bring pain and sadness. Each person deals with change differently, but it is change that links all of us: we all experience it.
We grow up, we fail, we succeed, we gain friends, we lose some, and constantly learn new lessons, while at the same time making tons of mistakes. You will meet people who will be there to merely push you to another chapter and then stay behind; and there are others who will remain with you for all lifetime, through all the chapters.
In the end, this is what makes life beautiful. Without the pain, the struggle, the sadness, we wouldn't appreciate the joy, the laughs, and the incredible happiness we experience. We all have scars, some are deeper than others. With time and a positive mindset they fade and become lessons and the memories to reflect on. Looking on the brighter side of things is a choice and if the road gets tough realize that nothing lasts forever. Bad times are just times that are bad.
